Fotoboat Scorpion 50th Birthday Calendar

by Mike Rice, www.fotoboat.com 2 Dec 2009 14:30 GMT

After weeks of collaboration between Fotoboat and the Scorpion Class Association, the Scorpion 50th anniversary souvenir calendar is on sale today. Mike Rice, Fotoboat founder, said “Colin Keogh of the Scorpion Class Association has done a fantastic job gathering old Scorpion photos and other class ephemera (such as an advert for a Scorpion kit for £90!). Fotoboat has been at the Scorpion nationals every year since 2005 and we have drawn on this great record of the class’s recent performance for the main calendar pictures. It has been a challenge to make the best use of all this material, but great fun and I think Scorpion sailors will be pleased with the result.”

The calendar can be viewed and ordered via the Fotoboat calendar shop at www.fotoboat.com/calendar_shop.htm . Like all the other Fotoboat calendars, the size is A4 and each calendar comes with a card mailing wallet. Prices (including postage) are £9.95 each for 1-3, £8.95 each for 4 to 9 and £7.95 each for 10 or more.

Stocks are fast running out of the other Fotoboat calendars: the Fotoboat 2010 calendar, with pictures chosen by website users, the Laser 2000 calendar and the Solo calendar. Also, if you want to support a fantastic services sailing charity, Toe in the Water, buy a Services Dinghy Sailing calendar and all the proceeds, once direct printing costs have been covered, will go to the charity.

Order by Sunday 20 December and we will do our best to get your calendars to you in time for Christmas, but if you wait that long we may be out of stock!
