Gwaihir and Marengo do battle again

Back in action this weekend were the Itchenor Swallows. Following shortly after the national championships, the Swallows were competing for the Bob Massey Trophy. Held in benign conditions in Chichester harbour the event was dominated by the two protagonists from the nationals. Once again it was Gwaihir who triumphed and once again by one point from Marengo. Third spot was taken by Migrant.

Overall Results:

1st Gwaihir (Mike Wigmore, Mark and Rachel Strucket)
2nd Marengo (Carolyn Brigg, Sue Glover, Noel Wilson)
3rd Migrant (Richard and Carol Thompson, John Prunty)
