Holt sets course for the future

Holt has pioneered the development of recreational sailing over the last 63 years. Holt has built boats, manufactured sails and spars. In 2002 Holt rationalised its range to concentrate on its hardware business, never straying too far from its core values of producing innovative and affordable products for sailors.

The development and design of the range of products has been driven by Team Holt sailors, the Holt sales team as well as partnerships with the world's leading boat builders and retailers. The separation from one of its manufacturing partners, Allen Brothers after 52 years was not Holt’s decision and they regret they no longer shared the vision to continue in this unique partnership.

The breakdown of our manufacturing partnership is regrettable, as with any long standing relationship; however we have the resources in place and time to deliver to our customers the next generation of Holt Performance products”

Ben Dunton, Holt’s Director stated:” This is an opportunity to evolve the range and create the next generation of product using the latest materials and technology.”

“Holt is a preferred supplier for the largest sailboat manufacturers in the world. Holt have committed to investing $1.5m in the development and manufacture of the next generation of Holt Performance product. New products will be seamlessly integrated; the first of these products being introduced in April. In the meantime we have plenty of stock of the existing range.”
