Key Yachting at the Whyte & Mackay Earls Court Boat Show

by Becci Eplett, J-UK 12 Nov 2007 07:40 GMT 1-9 December 2007

In January of this year Comar Yachts of Italy appointed Key Yachting Ltd as their UK agent for the stunning range of production yachts called Comet. This range includes models from 33 to 62 feet.

For us, apart from the proven worth of the Comets on race-tracks throughout Europe (and hopefully very soon in the UK), one of the most interesting things about the Comets is the fact that the building yard in Italy is able to offer so much choice to new owners in terms of the fit-out and finish. The build quality is high and the Comets are extremely well priced.

We showed the gorgeous Comet 45 Sport at the Southampton Show and on the pool at Earls Court, opposite stand 1F36, Key Yachting will be showing the Comet 33 and also the Comet 41 Sport, both on show for the first time ever in the UK.

The Comet 33 is a performance-cruiser and is the smallest boat in the range. With a relatively large interior volume for a 33 footer coupled with great on the water performance, thirty five were sold in the first year of production so we expect great things for her in the UK.

The Comet 41 Sport will also be on the pool. Again, a race winner, this boat will interest anyone who is looking for a cruiser-racer with superb handling and performance coupled with great design and winning craftsmanship. The Comet 41 S is also afloat at Earls Court.
