Ullswater Yacht Club’s special Skiff event for 49ers/49fx, 29ers, RS800 and Musto Skiffs as well as a handicap fleet and International Canoes.
Five windward/leeward races are planned over the weekend along with a special long distance race on Monday, May 4. Five races out of six will count towards the overall results. The event is part of the Scottish Skiff Travellers’ series and the club is pleased to welcome members of the International Canoe fleet who are returning to race in an open after a two year break.
Event organisers are planning to send the fleet on a Birkett-length course down the lake to Norfolk Island and back on Monday, May 4 – weather permitting.
On shore over the three-day holiday there’s the usual UYC hospitality on offer with the galley open for food and drink and camping on site.
The event entry form and notice of race are now available on the UYC website under ‘Events’
