Professional Windsurfers Association World Tour Irish Trials

by PWA Event Media on 8 Oct 2000
In the last two days the hotly contested IWA (Irish Windsurfing Association) trials
event has produced eight sailors to fill the remaining wildcard places for the contest.

The conditions have been incredible and tested the competitors to their max. Winds in excess
of sixty knots and logo to mast high surf, the Dingle Peninsula has put on a show that has
sealed it's place on the list of favourite locations for many of the PWA fleet.

The entry list line up is one of the most impressive imaginable for a PWA wave event. Looking
down the list the names just keep on coming. The current top ten are all present including
Bjorn Dunkerbeck E-11 (F2, Neil Pryde), Nik Baker K-66 (Mistral, North), Jason Polakow
KA-1111 (JP Australia, Neil Pryde) and Vidar Jensen N-44 (Drops, North).
