Race 6.

Winds of 10-12 knots, falling away to 5-6 knots by the end of
the race. Dignity won , 2XL were 2nd. Game On came 3rd

Race 7.

Hurrycane start on port at the pin and was not headed. Game On also started on port but had to dip the most of the fleet on starboard. They were second to the windward mark and held onto that placing. Bit of a Coup was third, with Victric 4th.

A boat that can party and win at the same time? Week 6 of the HYS Hamble Winter Series dawned with lovely winter sunshine bathing the Solent. As is now becoming the norm, the wind was forecast and indeed was from a northerly direction. The CV Condor made its way to East Knoll.

100 intrepid young sailors at the Salterns Sailathon One hundred young sailors from Salterns Sailing Club showed great determination last weekend when they sailed non-stop for 24 hours to raise funds for the BBC Children in Need appeal.

The Clipper Race Leg 3 - Race 4, Day 3
Conditions liven up as the race remains tight On the third day of Race 4, the upwind slam has subsided for most of the Clipper Race Crews, but whilst the fleet is enjoying the somewhat gentle introduction has they head towards the Roaring Forties, there is much anticipation of what might lay ahead.
