Karen represented Australia in 1988, and was part of the first women's team to represent Australia in sailing. 1988 was the first year that 470's and women were part of the yachting scene at the Olympics.

Karen gives her take on Australia's chances in the 470s at these Olympics.

Jacques Caraës and Claire Renou appointed The Race Around, Class40's official round-the-world yacht race, has named its race management team. The event, co-founded by Sam Holliday and Hugh Piggin, will start in the late summer of 2023 and can be raced either solo or double-handed.
