Team Legato Lags...the frustrations continue

by Barry Pickthall on 26 Jan 2001
Tony Bullimore and his TEAM LEG|LEGATO crew are resigned to the fact that they

Currently at 29 46S, they are fighting to break south into the mid-30
lattitudes and give chase to their Polish rivals on ‘Warta Polpharma’. The
Poles are enjoying perfect conditions down at 42 27’S and covered 495 miles
during the past 24 hours against TEAM LEGATO’s 168.

Leading positions at 03:00 GMT today
1. Club Med 14,986 miles to finish
2. Innovation Explorer +645miles
3. Team Adventure 2954miles – IN CAPE TOWN FOR REPAIRS
4. Warta Polpharma 3205miles
5. Team Legato 4374miles Position; 29 46’S; 17 35’W
6. PlayStation – RETIRED 14.01.01
