Delta Wing holding out PHS Division.

by Rob Kothe sail-world.com on 28 Dec 2000 Bill Koppe’s Delta Wing is now 50 miles south of Gabo Island and in the PHS lead, still ahead of the tiny Berimilla, skippered by Alex Whitworth some twenty miles further into Bass Strait but still with the bulk of the race ahead of them..

Peter Roger’s Olsen 40 has climbed into third place ahead of Hogsbreath Witchdoctor.

However there is still a long long way for this division and the changing weather will no doubt come into play.

Amaya is now back in the race having effected radio repairs and passed through the Green Cape Gate.
