Farr 40 division- 2nd race PROVISIONAL results - 2000 Ord Minnett Regatta

3rd place went to Smile (Simon Whiston) and Buon Giorno (Stephen Ellis) sailed a clean race to finish 4th. Buon Giorno was penalised in race one and finished 12th.

Corinthian Doors (Richard Perini), Fruit Machine (Neill Whiston), Envy (Anthony Dickson) and Syntegra Rapscallion (Dick Voorderhake) were the next boats over the line.

The race was sailed in a dying breeze, competitors finishing in 12 knots.

Disappointing results for British team but all on for final day An interesting day on the water where everyone was expecting super strong winds that never materialized. In fact the conditions were variable all afternoon seeing some decent gusts and then massive holes of no wind, testing conditions for all six teams.

Pedote and Marchand finish the race in Défi Azimut
Giancarlo and Anthony complete the 665-mile course in 13th position after a little over two days. During this time, they were subjected to varied conditions to say the least, with a steady breeze over the first two thirds of the route, which enabled them to maintain an average speed of over 20 knots and test their machine.

The third day featured more brilliant sunshine but a lighter breeze The penultimate day of the 2019 One Ton Cup featured two races with downwind starts and round the buoys courses. The downwind spinnaker action was pulsating, an incredible sight, as the fleet took off from the get-go.

National TT Series Round 10 The tenth Event in the Hansa National Traveller Trophy Series was hosted by Frensham Pond Sailability on Wednesday 18th September 2019. The event was well attended with 24 boats and 31 sailors taking part in the four-race programme.
