Latest ISAF World Match Racing Rankings released October 10th

The ISAF World Match Racing Rankings released on October 10th. show the biggest movers to be Australian Jamie Spithill who has moved up from 14th to 9th place & Sydney Soling Gold Medallist Jesper Bank now 5th.

Since the last release (22 August 2000), the major events which have been included in the Rankings have been the Sydney 2000 Soling Match Racing regatta and the Grade One event, the Knickerbocker Cup in New York in which Spithill came second.

Bertrand Pace of France retains the No. 1 position with Kiwi Dean Barker 2nd,
the Dane Sten Mohr is still 3rd, Swede Magnus Holmberg 4th. Jesper Bank has moved up from 12th to take 5th spot. Peter Gilmour drops back one position to 6th.

The Danish strength continues to show with Jes Gram-Hansen is now 7th and Jesper Radich Jonansen now 8th.

The Dutch Soling Roy Heiner, with his Sydney Olympic 4th place remain unchanged at 10th.
