KLEPPICH BACK AT THE TOP

The boys are back in town in the men's Mistral class! Currently world number 1 Aussie Lars Kleppich is in 3rd position overall after winning race 6 today.

The Austrian contender Christoph Sieber stays in the lead as won race 5. Argentinean Carlos Espinola finished 5th and 7th and is still in 2nd position.

Kiwi Aaron McIntosh, world number 2, had a big come back today as he's gone up from 14th to 4th position overall thanks to his third place in race 6 but also because the scores are now including the worst performance discards.

French Alexandre Guyader who is among the big favourites as world number three had a first good race today coming 4th but he blew it again coming 15th in race 6. Guyader is now only in 10th position overall and will have to get up of the floor if still wants to be in contention for a medal.

Each boat had some mishap, a swim, a rip in the kite, a broaching experience Over the weekend of 29/30 November, Blessington SC organised a RS400 Winters Event to round off the 2025 season with a final fling before the Christmas period. The plan was for some light-hearted, fun and fast racing.
