Henr-Lloyd 2021 For the love of foul weather LEADERBOARD

Agreement reached

by Hugo van Kretschmar, and Robert Reynolds on 15 Feb 2000
On Saturday 12th February 2000, Senior Executives of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia and the Middle Harbour Yacht Club met to discuss concerns raised
by offshore yacht owners with regard to the timing of Coffs Coast Sail Week 2000 and the 2000 Sydney to Mooloolaba Race.
Because in both cases Notices of Race had been formally issued, the meeting agreed that both events should run as scheduled this year.

It was, however, the clear desire of all those in attendance that both Clubs enter early dialogue with a view to developing, with the support of other Sydney based
Clubs that foster offshore yacht racing, a joint program for the year 2000/2001 that would allow all competitors to race without compromise in the events of their
choice.

Both Clubs wish it to be known that they continue to support without reservation, the concept of combined Clubs racing and are fully committed to the continued
development of Offshore Racing in Australian waters for the mutual benefit of their memberships.
