Fox’s Marine & Country is one of the largest chandlery and outdoor stores of it’s kind, with around 15,000 sq ft of retail space stocking over 10,000 product lines. We are conveniently located within Fox’s Marina & Boatyard on the River Orwell, on the outskirts of Ipswich and just a few minutes from the A12/A14 with its direct links to all the major routes. But if we are too far away we ship phone and web orders daily and usually with overnight delivery.
Fox’s was established in 1927 and with nearly 90 years experience behind us, there isn’t much we don’t know about our customer’s requirements when it comes to their boats and sailing kit. We cater for all, from those equipping 80’+ luxury yachts for world cruising to dinghy sailors on a budget.
Our onsite rigging, marine engineering, electronics and boat repair business means that not only do we have access to some of the best boatyard facilities in the country, but there are very few technical issues we can’t find a solution to. It’s no accident that the majority of Oyster yachts afloat have been rigged by the team here at Fox’s and many return to Fox’s when it’s time for a refit.
Customer service is the bedrock on which we have built our business and, together with the wealth of experience in our team, is one very good reason why Fox’s Marine & Country enjoys a loyal and longstanding customer base. Headed up by General Manager, Tom Stewart, a very keen cruising and racing sailor who just happens to be the current National 12 national champion, many of the team at Fox’s have been with us for over 20 years and their product knowledge is unsurpassed.
