Automated text service

   Simple one really...
Does anyone use an automated text service like http://www.textlocal.com/  to help organise racing (tidal water so not a fixed period schedule) and other events.  Calling off,  improving particpation, that sort of thing.

Did it work, good????  waste of money???

Just toying with it really..
