Ouch! It would be cheaper to drive it there at that price.

I sent a Fireball main & jib from the south cost to scotland a few years back, but I don't know the cost - the recipient organised it. Fairly sure it wasn't anythink like £80 though. The intention was to roll both sails inside a carpet roll centre tube, but the main wouldn't fit so it was rolled around the outside & the whole lot encased in bubble-wrap.

I run a courier company in London and can arrange third party collections and deliveries.

If you can let me know the dimensions and weight I may be able to help you ??

Find a mate with a UK mail (business post) or tnt account should cost less than £20 to post.

our couriers won't take anything over 2m, most race sails / membranes that get shipped  in (which is just about every load path/ custom sail!) folded with the battens rolled up, they are then unpacked and rolled.
Then it will cost £14 from parcel force - our ben211 customload path sail was delivered like this - much tomy surprise...
Cheers you

Okay, glad you got it sorted

3 metres is the max length I can put into the overnight system; I could have done it for £47.00 plus the vat so the price you have from TNT is fine.

Party Santa is travelling Lowestoft-to-Rossendale next Friday (9th) with Christmas Presents !
Happy to collect/deliver en-route (within reason), for a Mug-o-Hot-Chocolate and to make a bit of a journey break! Returning home on Saturday 10th. Private please, not Commercial. Length-limit = Mazda Bongo Van !

Why is there no Christmas-Emoticon ?

Posted a lot of kayaking stuff through them, they're cheap and fairly reliable. Offer insurance as well if you're worried about damage
