I have the following questions regarding the Cork 1720. Are there any structuctural problems on cork 1720 (for instance why is the rudder post re-designed) Are there cork 1720 racing under IMS or ORC club and when doing so what is the GPH Regards J.Gelders Holland

Although it is not a class I've owned or sailed, I know people who have them and I haven't heard of any structural problems. However your best bet would be to contact the class association: see http://www.1720sportsboat.com/clasassc.htm To the best of my knowledge, the vast majority of 1720s are in the UK and Ireland, where there has been zero interest in IMS for many years and none at all in ORC Club. |

Does the 1720 have a mast problem. It would seem most boats for sale in the magazine always have new masts?
