I created "London Corinthian Sailing Club" a very long time ago. It is completely open. Several editors. we are also starting a "page" which will be more controlled. We also have Twitter, blog, email discussion group and of course www.lcsc.org.uk. the website, followed by the discussion group are the most important things. I thnk in many ways there are too many forms of communication, but you can't really afford to miss out either.

The facebook group is good as it is a completely free place to interact - a bit like a remote club bar.
I like to take pictures of sailing, but I'd rather be sailing!

We've just gone live with a Facebook page at Castle Cove SC http://go2fb.biz/ccsc. It gets it's content as an RSS feed from our new news website http://news.ccsc.org.uk which intern get it's content from various Blogspot RSS feeds.

Gunfleet sc, set up a facebook page to keep in touch with the younger members. The youth members including myself monitor the page and keep others informed about upcoming events.
