Hello to all!

Hello,

I couldn't find a newbies section so thought I'd post here even though I'm not really new to sailing.

Just purchased a 505 from the late 80's and also own a 26ft seawolf yacht that i half own with my dad. I've had a string of dinghies as a teenager ranging from a minisail to 505. I haven't been sailing in dinghies for nearly 3 or 4 years now so it'll be a shock to the system I hope!

Look forward to picking your brains guys and hopefully helping out with some answers as well!

	choose your weather window - don't go out in a F4-5 till you got the hang of the boat!

	believe me, white horses, no courses....... that rhymes :) I'm going to be very cautious at first, although having an 18st exeter chiefs rugby player might help things if he is supple enough! .........
