Is SailingSanta ready for 2010 Christmas yet?

Is it too early to give you my Christmas list?

Crikey Richard, you're cutting my holiday a bit short... If you're asking so early, it means your list is far too long.
Warning: I had budget cuts this year, so don't ask for a carbon tiller extension if you don't want to be given a length of garden pole (painted black, I'm not mean). Also, due to restrictions, everyone will have to provide testimonials from friends and family that they have been good all year.

Budgetary suggestions:

1. some old black rope coiled up tightly and then plunged into bleach - should come out looking like that bl**dy expensive "swiftcord stuff" I reckon

2. 80'swetsuit material, make sure it's the foam backed "spongy" stuff, add some strong glue, you got yourself cut-price pr0grip

3. raid grans knitting basket, dig out the spinny repair tape and cut into small circles; tell tales, pimp prizes for those who have rastafarian wool or rainbow colours

4. send your old sails out and have them cleaned, they'll look like new ones if you're lucky!

5. go to shock sailing and buy some supa gloves and stop wasting £££s on expensive "yachty" ones that aren't as good

I regret to inform you that following the announcement by ISAF, Christmas has been cancelled.

Without the Star to follow, I will have no means of navigation.

Thank you for your understanding.
