My gel and catalyst arrived from laser performance today but without any indication of the mix ratio that should be used.  There is 500ml of gel, but a teeny tiny bottle of catalyst.  Does anyone know what the mix ratio should be and how it is best achieved?

I normally use pp gel, but this time wanted the right colour match.
the same, but different...

2% is the reccomended. However that is always difficult to tell (how do you measure it) so I tend to use extra catalyst to make sure it goes off. Bigger is better right?

If you add too much catalyst you get a fast cure but it doesn't set as hard - you sort of end up with a rubbery finish...I was always told to err slightly on the not quite enough and give the mix longer to cure   Geek

Yep, 2% is right if it's a Blue Gee product. If you can get hold of a tiny syringe, that'll measure it. A good way to visulise quantity of gelcoat resin is a teaspoon is 5ml, so work from there depending on quantity required.
