Did you buy this from ebay by any chance?  there was some info on it in the cvrda forum, temporarily closed.  Rupert might remember the details.
the same, but different...

I don't think Winging it was the seller. I'm afraid I don't remember the thread. Can't find any Vulcans which aren't either dinghies or yachts in any of my books, but if it dates from later than the early 70's, there is a big gap in the info. A picture would help, pref with sails up and insignia showing, please!

No, I didn't sell it - never seen one, but I do remember there was some discussion about it in the cvrda and also here:

Rupert must be having a senior moment, because that's his post....as is the one below, which has a drawing!

I must be, mustn't I...is that really the correct Vulcan, though? If so, I'm afraid there won't be any class association for it. Love to see her up at Clywedog on August Bank Holiday for the classics Nationals - plenty of advice at hand for rigging and the like there, and even the odd race to find out how fast she really is!

I think that could be the correct vulcan ... unfortunatly we bought it from ebay as just the hull with a trailer ... no keel , mast , boom , sails or anything , which is why i was looking for an insight , any sort of help would be awesome ?
And rupert , i might look into that ... see if we can pick up any advice

Hi folks, stumbled across the thread about the vulcan, I dont know how old the original post is but I have some info and some bits if anyone is interested. needlespar mast and boom, IYE rudder and  stock, Bruce Banks main and jib, used twice. it was my Dads, no longer have the hull. the dagger board was thick ply with a two part lead bulb.
