That would exclude traditional boats like the Brighlingsea One Design and others of the same ilk.. |

A boat without a fixed (permanently down) appendage. Certainly most of the standard sailing boat design texts
seem to imply this definition. I think anything about weather it plains or not is a "performance dinghy" (whatever that is...) hang up and equally the claim of the flying fifteens, tempests and other small fast keel boats is really a dinghy is a hang up by them. |
