Just a thought but in the member profile 'location' tends to be very broad i.e. UK.
Mark - what about a field for region / sailing club / local sailing waters? |

That would be a good idea, especially for the "serious" posts, asking for specific advice. It's easier to help if you know where people sail.

yes i agree that is a good idea as eversailing area is different and some people who sail in the same area could privide alot of help where as someone form uk- only has a braod mind generally of sailing conditions etc

Hi all That shouldn't be a problem - if you live in the UK you can already put your county in for the Sailor Profile bit (used for the crew search etc.) - I can make it display this beside your forum posts. Cheers, Mark |
