Recently got into Twitter. My life is so empty shallow and vacuous that I don't have anything that anyone might possibly be interested in, however Twitter is a great way to receive information. It was brilliant during the G20 recently. Amongst others I am "following" BBC News and Sky News. News hits your desktop before the main web site and because each article is limited to 140 characters or less they are quick, short and very precise. Like everyone I am also now a very close personal friend of Steven Fry... you can be too!

More importantly Y&Y... your sailing competition is there!

She who must be obeyed is also a friend of Steven Fry (sounds like a euphemism for something else) - and Suzy Perry, Jason Bradbury, Eddie Izzard, Phil Jupitus.....

Not got into the whole Twitter thing myself, but it does seem to work for so many others
