Yep, it's true. Paddington has come over to the DARK SIDE!

We must have gone to a different place!

I had an excellent piece of fish with chips and peas, and the wife had a large baked potatoe with chilli and salad....

As we sat down we commented how good the prices were: not cheap but certainly not as much as we expected they would be.

(But we dont need to worry about paying for kids any longer...)

I have noticed a lot recently that when referring to a potato that has been baked it's been written as "baked potatoe" with an 'e' on the end. I have only ever noticed it when it's being referred to the baked variety. Very strange!
Needs to sail more...

I remember going to the Challenge Cup Final at Murrayfield in 2000, and looked at the prices on the concession stands and muttered something under my breath. Meanwhile all around me peopel who were used to London (this was the first post Wembley final, Bradford v. Leeds, Bradford won) were remarking on how cheap everything was. I think the fact it is in London is the main thing that keeps me away to be honest. Lovely venue, shiny boats.... London...

"potatoe" is US Vice President Dan Quayle's main legacy:

We thought that was bad, then Bush came along.

DO NOT besmirch Paddington with this filthy attempt to blacken his Peruvian greatness.    Bears do not like Marmite it is evil...I tell thee. SO there!
I might be sailing it, but it's still sh**e!

Ah - Marmite, lovely stuff. A Cheese and Marmite stand at the show would have been good!
