Volvo Ocean Race Media

As mentioned on a few other websites does anyone know where "the footage of these Volvo 70's surfing down waves at break-neck speeds and ploughing their way through the ocean to their next port of call" to quote Ericsson 4. The video footage that's on the website is pretty pants to be honest, they are currently charging along in 30 knots of breeze but no one seems to be sending many pics of any video back. Are they saving it to show another time?

Apparently all the cameras are meant ot be HD, which means the file sizes will be huge. Perhaps with all the boat data, emails vid and pics the media guys have to be selective of what they send.  but when they get into port i reckon we should get some great footage.  shame its not being sent more regulary, but teething problems i probably, hopefully they will all of sorted it by the next leg.  but so far a lot of hype about this volvo and not much to back it up.  some of the emails pic and vids have been gopod but we should be seeing more.

There seems to have been a bit of a pattern so far, with both coverage and the virtual game:

1. People on various forums moan and bitch about something
2. Scott posts a rant on the sailinganarchy.com homepage
3. Something gets done about it
