Redback, dont forget there is actualy quite a large contigent of yacht racing on the medway, not just the smaller keelboats like the dragons. Granted, it is handicap yacht racing but it still usualy seems like quite close racing.
And i couldnt agree more about the medway, whilst i do love windward leewards, for club racing there's no place I would rather be than on the medway. It seems each race always starts with a lot of tactical boat positioning because the river is so narrow at our end and then when it broadens out we can outright blast our way around!! |
