Regatta week for Assy Boat

   Just bought a B14 and I want to really get to grips with it before we take her to the nationals and what better idea then to do a regatta week. So what’s the best regatta week for an Asymmetric boat? It must be either last week in July or the first 3 weeks of August.

	Brightlingsea. East Coast (always sunny!). Other B14s to race against (and other classes if you are not a B14 sailor!). Camping about 50 yds from the dinghy park. Club house and bar about 10 yds from the slipway. Breakfasts, lunches and evening meals at excellent prices. Very friendly club. One race a day, alternate AM and PM. So one day you get the sea breeze, and the next you don't. Some people manage to sail 2 races a day in class and handicap. Dates for 2007: August 12-17th.
