the 29er single handed looks fun but would be a bit of a laugh when the wind gets up!!

Come on its been mentioned but no1 has noticed it. LASER 3000    its nle a skiff and comes around £2000 its still fast and is a gr8 learner boat 4 the kid i sailed one for a year and it got me from a topper to being able to manage a cherub in up to a f5.    A cherub is not for a 7 year old.
If not an 18 footer jkin

I hate text-speak too - don't see why I should spend my time figuring out someone's spelling and punctuation just because they can't be bothered themselves! I usually give up and ignore such posts completely.

"gr8" I can at least figure out. However I don't know what you mean by "its anally a skiff".

Many skiff type boats have quite a wide transom (=fat a**e). Perhaps that's what he means...
