The sponsors logo is "Taking Sailing Forward In Wales" Maybe I will go and play with model boats as this is not exactly "sailing for all".

Then sail in the Asym class(for those with kites), it does not say "Asym 1/2 boats " !

Bit cheeky of them refusing to let you sail, I can undertand them not wanting to run a stary / seperate prises for only 6 boats, but excluding you from the event is not on.

We spoke to the Asym classes at Grafham about their Slalom event they do in the Autumn and some of the Cats joined in.  IMO we have a lot more in common with the Asym boys now that the rest of the 1/2 boat sailors.

Very good point Simon, when we were learning to sail skiffs it was the cat sailors that we turned to for advice at the club. Seemed to work very well sailing the boats applying cat skills instead of trying to get round the cans as if we were sailing a 505.
