I would definately say cleats but also worth fitting barber haulers or track so you can adjust the sheet angle for the conditions. Also what diameter sheet, larger diameter is easier to grip and hence pull-in but you might need two sets depending on wind speed.
You could also try achieving 2:1 purchase on the jib sheets, although this type of system might result in too much rope in the cockpit. |

unfortunatly for you, high spec blocks are very expensive, and the gain, even with ratchet blocks is minimal. In the long run i'd suggest upgrading your girlfriend to a heavier duty model!
