2025 Anglesey Offshore Race Cancelled

“We’re really sorry to announce that the 2025 Anglesey Offshore Dinghy Race will not go ahead.

‍

This decision hasn’t been taken lightly, and we know it’s relatively short notice. However, we don’t feel confident that we can put the right team of volunteers in place to run the event safely and to the standard it deserves.

‍

We are already looking ahead to a return in 2026 — potentially with a slightly revised format that better reflects the resources and strengths of the club and local sailing community.

If you have any thoughts or ideas about the future of the race — whether around course design, partnerships, or volunteer support — we’d love to hear from you.”
