good service by Ovington boats

   People on here moan about the marine industry at times so when you get good service even beyond the normal.i sailed last Tuesday on a windy evening first tack in the race funny noise from above and the whole track came off my carbon mast . Managed to sail get back ashore without further damage.
Now it was 10 days before out Nationals at Lyme. had various numbers offered me of people who might be able to fix it in time. Late that evening I sent Chris Turner from Ovington a facebook message. following morning he had responded and i drove the mast and boat to Sam at Portland on checking he noticed the join from straight to tapered tube was coming apart which probably caused the failure. He is going to fix so I can collect boat Monday ready to take to Lyme in time for the Nationals.
It was not a CST mast they sell but they are fixing it super quick 
Thats service and looking after fellow sailors. Thank you so much Chris Turner and Sam for your efforts
