Hi guys, I've been sailing on a small lake with wind problems and the usual problems. I intend to make it possible to experience a number of different conditions. Maybe poole a few days. Please experience who has successfully organized? Thanks!

Hi. What exactly are you asking for? Do you wish to find out how to take your own boat to sail on Poole Harbour in the UK?

We sail and camp at Chichester Harbour every year for a week. We have looked at alternatives over the years like Poole but Chichester is so much better for us. More destinations within the harbour and much more variety.

Somewhere to stay with easy access to the water and somewhere safe to park your boat is the problem at Poole. We did find a campsite with a slipway down at Poole but it didn't look very nice at low tide. Others who know the area better may have suggestions.

At Chichester Harbour there is Cobnor Estate (next to Cobnor activity center) which is a possibility, it also has a slipway, a boat park and camping. Also you may find some of the Sailing Clubs might have accomodation that you can use. I know Itchenor SC has rooms. You will have to ring around and find out if they will accommodate you.

If you can make the journey Chichester is much better in my opinion....if you can find somewhere to stay with the facilities you need.

Edit: Cobnor Estate is otherwise known as Cobnor House if you google.
