We are lucky in Birmingham   Matt Biggs, Birmingham Dinghy services in Perry Barr with HD Sails and Creation covers upstairs. And then Dinghytec the best repair and paint shop in Curdworth just down the road. And tell me how you click on a computer screen and get a cup of tea whilst you buy!

Oh I miss the days of hanging around talking boats and gear in a friendly local dinghy chandelry. Always was a pleasant way of passing an hour and spending a few pounds. Sadly my favourite local shops have closed or run down to very limited opening hours, these places tended to be run by sailing enthusiasts, were often members of neighbouring clubs, and would often support local clubs in offering prizes etc. Very sadly missed.

I bought the Adidas hiking boots for £30 with low expectations and have been very pleasantly surprised.

Comfortable, good grip on sole and really good grip on top of foot.

Yes I also have the adidas hiking boots as my spare pair (also bought cheap) for when my Frixion are wet and I fancy dry boots! I have been pleasantly surprised by them too but I do find that sand and pebbles get into them when launching through the cut out on the back which can be a bit pesky but they are very comfy in use and the sole is grippy too. Would buy again, especially at the discount price!
