How widely worldwide are Phantoms sailed?


The phantom is a British class only really. There are a couple in the US and I think maybe one in South Africa but that's about it. If you want to compete in Europe or further afield it's either the Finn or the OK.

Competitive weight for the phantom is about 13 stone upwards.

Graham Scott at 80-85kgs made them go quickly in the early-mid 2000's and Charlie Cumberly it 85ish kgs also does alright, so you can be lighter.

With the raking rig, you can depower nicely
