I've acquired a used Magno. It has a gennaker pole but with no rope coming out the front end. Rigging instructions seem to say to attach the foot of the gennaker to a rope coming from the front end of the pole. Any suggestions on what to do please? JW |

Have you read this?
https://www.toppersailboats.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/rigging_instructions_magno.pdf Basically the spinnaker halyard should go through a block at the bottom of the mast, forward to a free floating block on the end of a piece of line disappearing into the pole, and then back to the cleat. So the question is how much is missing. If you still have that block and line, but its come unthreaded then just rethread it. It goes right through the pole, I don't think there's anything complicated about it. Fencing wire is handy amongst other ways of threading it.. If you haven't got the block and line its possibly easiest to contact Topper and have them tell you what the correct bits are. Edited by JimC - 27 Sep 18 at 3:44pm |
