Former and rusty racer who been out of the sport for too long and looking to get back in.

Work as a theatre nurse so finding courses do not fit my hours. I spend a lot of time in Belgium so it would be great to get to sail out there when I spend timethere.

I was wondering if anyone could help with private lessons or short courses?

Would be great if anyone could PM me (or reply to this thread) if they can help,

thanks

Plenty of clubs in Cotswolds area, Whitefriars SC and right next door South Cerney SC, RYA will provide all clubs or centres near you, just type in your postcode.

A club is probably the best option if you can find one who's improver sessions fit in around your lifestyle/work but if not commercial and council run centres will probably offer coaching/lessons weekdays, evenings and weekends (clubs rarely offer weekday sessions and usually always on the same night of the week) which would be more flexible if you work 'difficult' shifts. They will also have boats for hire and safety cover during daylight hours throughout the week.

Their are Whitefriars members on here, I have sailed there numerous times, they are a very friendly crowd there.

Thanks for that. Sounds ridiculous but it helps when the clubs are friendly
