Laser Performance Replica Sails

Far be it from me to support the activity, but our lot do get a perverse enjoyment out of their collective suffering it does populate the fleet and helps build the activity in general, if you encourage someone to 'have a go' it's easy to bung em in a Laser and or it serves as a means of getting crewless helms out there.

My beef is that it isn't used more as a rock upon which the racing handicap system could be founded. It should be the permanent '1000' and everything else should be re-ordered around it, use it's popularity to provide some stability in a confusing and confounding system that repels as many folk as it's designed to attract.

Laser is still a global brand but I see one sailed occasionally in races at our club and very few at Great Lake events. How many Lasers at the nationals last year? Most seem to be growing weeds.

The new sails are loads better
