Another Projection 762 thread...

   Hi all,

I am considering a Projection 762 for racing at my local club on the River Crouch and occasional cruising with the family on board. 

I really want to enter Cowes Week and the round the Island Race, which I can't really do in my current boat as its a little small. Does the projection make a good boat for this sort of thing? I'm not really considering any offshore racing.

I'm also going to be a bit short of crew most of the time, probably sailing with 3 on board, is this going to be an issue ?

I have read through the other projection thread and there is talk of a class website for information sharing, did this ever get off the ground ?
