I never experience any problems with my Rooster Polypro tops. On the other hand some of my rash tops are pretty vile. So thanks for the tips. Also, I think it helps to get gear dry as soon as it is washed. Mine goes straight in the in the airing cupboard. It may not make me popular at home but I can be assured that my steamer boots will be fresh and dry the next time I put them on.
By the way, just in case you have not noticed, leaving a damp Dacron sail in its bag for a week could well mean that it stinks the car out on the next drive to the sailing club.
