Australian Contender

I'm addressing our Australian members here in particular:

Do you know anyone, anywhere in Australia (!), who's got :

a) a passion for Contenders? (you'll need it, just wait)
b) an excellent memory?

Now, here's my problem:

I am hoping to buy a Contender which is currently in our club (LSC, in England). This boat was brought back from the Contender Worlds in Melbourne in 2002 or thereabouts.

It appears it's such an old boat it hasn't got a plaque or sail number or anything. The guy who bought it was the British Contender Assoc. Secretary at the time, so he tried to investigate where the boat came from.
Seemingly, it would have been built in 1969. It's a fibreglass hull. Dunno who built it, obviously. Apparently, there used to be, under the deck, a picture of a lady of perfect proportions, but so poor she couldn't afford much clothing.
The boat was sold with a sail # AUS144, but it's not the boat number.

That's all I know about it / her (she's called Sheila in our club, sorry for the stereotype, I didn't choose the name )

Would you know anyone who could give me a bit of background info?
