so i get boom height is a compromise between performance and comfort# which side of the balance does the aero come out on?

#i think comfort or in reality human factors is underplayed as a performance driver

It was higher than a Lightning boom, so higher than the Laser. Not like a Snipe, though.

Trouble is, high boom = high CofE - not what you really want in a narrow boat.
