How about 'Avoid capsizing and turtling on the race area if its windy and wavy as your mast will pile drive the bottom and break, one day at a previous Hayling 200 Nationals about 6 masts bent in 1 day'?

Not sure about the 200 nationals previously as I wasn't there, but yes there has been quite a few events when mast have been broken on the bar, i coached a 29er class training where about 4 were snapped in the space of an hour! It can be a pretty unforgiving place to turtle. However, events do tend to happen further out in to the bay now to reduce the risk.

You'll see I do have 'beware the bar' tip though.
