Eric Twiname class of '79 me, and a very successful team racing nationals in 1980.. Really good fun, shame it was lost to windsurfing in all of the planing only madness.

I'd never heard of windsurfing team racing. Now you've said it, it makes perfect sense.

There were other 'team' games for the Original Windsurfer Class, buoy ball being another, played with those space hopper things, which you had to pick up and try and sail it into the other teams goal, soccer style.

It was team racing though that helped develop Windsurfers rule knowledge,
