Winging it and Er indoors its all due to your hard work.

Well done.

And all the others at Hunts who were involved. We are a small club and everything is done by volunteers or club members with the relevant skills so to get awarded this is really good.

Yes Paul you are quite right. The team spirit at Hunts is something most clubs can only aspire to.

Who won the Sea Club award?

Hunts really know how to put on a good weekend of sailing. I'm organizing a couple of weekends at Whitefriars this coming season, and I shall be trying my best to emulate them. What it really takes is a big team of enthusiasts, though, and that takes time and the right people to pull together.

Caernarfon sailing club won the Sea Club.  I don't know what they hosted though.

We are being presented with a certificate at the Dinghy show tomorrow (Saturday) at 1.30pm on the main stage.  Apparently I am going up to collect it.  Gulp.

Here's some of the Hunts team with the certificate. We're all looking forward to their next cvrda open on the May 3rd/4th. Anyone with an old boat can come and join in and see what a good club this is.

Thanks Pat, much the same team is ready assembled for the first weekend in May.  We are expecting a good turn out, especially low rider moths and home boats.  On Saturday we are also hosting the de May series Merlins and the Signets! I am hoping to be getting my classic 14 out for the first time.

In the meant time that photo is going on the fridge, the biscuit tin, the beer cupboard......
the same, but different...
