I wonder how he does in one, Vic (his nickname) was always a bit of a dab hand in a dinghy, did you know he once campaigned an FD trying for the Olympics?

Unlikely, what was the sail brand he was advertising on his Solo, back in the day he was known as what you would refer to as a builder of replica sails, he had a unique ability if someone won with a suit of sails, the next week Vic would show up with or could build you a set similar or so I heard, I never really knew him as a dinghy sailor and Lester an I used to decide what to build for Tush race sails, his would work better for large sailors and mine would work better for lights (and pump well)
