Hi All,

I need to retrofit a high aspect board to my boat has anyone got any hints and tips?

We have two different boards and would be handy to use both if possible.

Has anyone made cassettes or do we just go for one or the other?

Thanks!

Are they the same thickness? Is the case shaped? I assume so on a 14. You might need to get very clever with tapered inserts top and bottom of the case.

Making a packer would be a royal nightmare.
Simon hiscocks sells some good orange stuff that I have on mine for exactly that purpose .
Thing is its great if you want to keep the dagger in one place!
I'm considering packing mine out undersize now to get some polar bear pubes in there to facilitate getting it up and down easier, maybe with filled epoxy or possibly spabond 345.
Which skinny board did you get ?

One is the original board which is short and dumpy and one is long and thin.

The longer one maybe a bit thinner. Dan, is this what you mean? http://www.shocksailing.com/shop/gasket_sealer.html.

It came with the boat, I think it's a Tingtong special. Might try and make a fillet for the back of the case. That filler seems fairly pricey.
